How to Use the Community (For new members)

(Feel free to skim if you feel comfortable figuring out the site on your own)

Ready to get started?

  1. The FIRST thing you should do is create your user profile.  Make sure you add a short bio and fill in the profile fields.  What are some of your goals?  What inspires you?  Just let us know a little bit about you.    –  To get to your profile you will see “My Account” at the very top of the screen, place your mouse over these words for the drop down menu to appear.  Place your mouse of the Profile option and out should pop an edit option.  Click the Edit button
  2. Create your avatar (photo).  After you edit your profile, you should see another button that says avatar.  Here you can upload a picture of yourself, you pet, a flower, whatever you want.  Preferably not pictures of you setting fire to your was-bands car.  Although possibly deserved…we are living for ourselves now, not anyone else.
  3. Jump over to “Forums” in the main navigation bar.  This is the community discussion room.  This is where women will be able to help you overcome your challenges.  Tell us about your issues here.  Ask questions.  Open up and let us help.

Again, don’t forget to just explore around the site.  Check out all the areas under each menu item.  Don’t be afraid to click on things or explore new pages.  You can always get back to the home screen by clicking MDRcommunity at the very top of the screen.

Also if you have any questions at all email us at help@midlifedivorcerecovery.com

Remember, create you profile first.  Your account options are also in the “My account” section.  Such as changing email options, changing your email address, etc…

If you wish to cancel your account. Please email us at cancel@midlifedivorcerecovery.com and provide the following information.

  1. Your full name
  2. The email address you used to sign up
  3. The reason you wish to cancel your Membership
